2022 MRC Program Recognition Awardees
In recognition of National Volunteer Week, the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) announced the recipients of its annual MRCC Recognition Awards on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. The MRC Recognition Awards are an opportunity to recognize and highlight amazing contributions of MRC units, volunteers, leaders, and partners over the last year.
There were nearly 200 nominations in 13 categories – covering both response and non-response contributions. As with last year’s awards, there were several COVID-19 specific categories. Since the start of the pandemic over 600 MRC units have contributed over 3 million hours to meeting their local communities’ needs.
Thank you to all the MRC units, volunteers, leaders and partners for all that they do to make the nation healthier, safer, and more resilient.
