Sandeep Patel, PhD.:  BARDA Ventures expands the range of investment tools that BARDA has available to advance novel medical countermeasure development, by using, for the first time in HHS, ASPR, and BARDA, the tools that the venture capital community uses. BARDA Ventures will help the technologies we know are critical to public health emergency preparedness and response, find a path towards commercialization, and at the same time, invite matching investments from the private investment community.
